Bonnie Saunders PT, MPA, CDP
As a physical therapist by profession, Bonnie Saunders’ career spans back over 20 years. She has worked in six states and a variety of settings over the years but has spent most of her career in the care of and teaching about senior adults and their special needs. Bonnie earned her Masters of Public Administration degree with an applied in Health Science Administration from the University Of Missouri-Kansas City. She has taught rehab professionals as well as other health care professionals in the clinic setting as well as teaching as an adjunct professor in KCKCC’s Physical Therapist Assistant program. Bonnie has had extensive clinical training and experience in the treatment of neurological conditions and diseases, specialized rehab considerations for senior adults, wound care and the treatment of persons with dementia. She has created many clinical programs over the years, such as Fall Prevention programs, Stroke Recovery Programs and many others. Bonnie also has created training programs for clinical staff in the areas of wound care, dementia, and stroke among others. Bonnie continues to be devoted to her own professional growth as well as that of the professional and auxiliary staff with whom she is privileged to work in order to optimally serve patients and residents.
