• Noise Study Quality Assurance

A noise study should be conducted at minimum once a year. The noise study should be conducted in every area of your facility utilized by your residents but especially the dementia unit. This includes but not limited to dining rooms, activity rooms, hallways, libraries, resident rooms if necessary, lobby, outside court yard, etc. The noise study takes place over a 24 hour period for each area of your facility because noise happens 24 hours a day.
