In honor of NCCDP Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia Care Staff Education Week February 14th to the 21st, the NCCDP has prepared or collaborated with other organizations to bring you state of the art staff in-services that include the power point, handouts, pretest, post-test and answers. The in-services are appropriate for all staff working in the health care industry which includes nursing homes, assisted living communities, home care agencies, hospice agencies, rehab centers, adult day care, hospitals, psychiatric facilities, senior centers, 55 plus communities, etc. The National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners recognizes the importance of continued ongoing education to insure your staff are competent and trained to provide sensitive and compassionate care to our most vulnerable elders.
The in-services are complimentary if you are a Certified CDP member with the NCCDP and in good standing. If you are not a Certified CDP member in good standing you may purchase the staff in-services. For our certified CDP members, the staff in-services are complimentary and available for download from November till March. Each year, on November 1st, NCCDP adds new in-service topics.
You are not allowed to change the in-services nor copy and distribute the in-services. The only time you may distribute the in-service materials is during your seminar.
The in-services DO NOT replace the required ADDC Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia Care Seminar required for those pursuing certification as a CDP taught by a CADDCT trainer.
