How to Become a CMDCP®
Attend an live seminar to obtain your CMDCP®.
Step 1
Complete the MCDC Seminar
Go to ICCDP Event Calendar and find an MCDC seminar that works for you. Register and attend the live seminar.
Step 2
Submit the CMDCP® Application
Then come back to our Member Portal and complete an application. Upon approval, you will be a CMDCP®.
Who should apply for CMDCP® Certification?
How do I apply?
- Step One: Complete the MCDC seminar. The MCDC seminar is the required course for those pursuing CMDCP® certification. Check here for live seminars.
- Step Two: Sign up for our member portal, and complete the application! Find the Member Portal here.
What do I need to apply?
- One full year of paid experience and a Certificate of Completion from an MCDC seminar given by an approved CMDCPT trainer.
What are the fees associated with this certification?
The seminar fee can vary, and the application fee is $185 USD.
Please note that we also have group and association rates that may be available to select individuals.
Renewal Requirements
Renewal is every two years. You will need to login at our member portal and complete a renewal application. We require all members to have 10 CEUs in anything healthcare related to renew. The cost of renewal is $185.
