Accreditation, Board Positions, and Participation in National Meetings
Accreditation Statement
The NCCDP is accredited as an approved provider of continuing education (7 CEUs) by accrediting agencies and continues to apply for CEUs from other professional organizations. We recommend that you check with your governing body to verify whether the continuing education hours will be accepted if not pre-approved for CEUs. CEUs are only offered by the corporate staff at NCCDP. It is the responsibility of each trainer to apply for course CEU approval through their respective governing agencies. Ask your instructor if the seminar is CEU approved and which agencies have approved it.
In addition, we recommend verifying with your governing body whether CEUs will be accepted if they were approved by a specific state but not nationally.
NCCDP (corporate staff only) currently offers CEUs for the following professions:
- Administrators through NAB
- Activity Professionals through NCCAP
Social Workers through the Nevada Social Work Board
The ADDC course is CEU approved for nurses for 7 CEUs with InsPAC in most states. InsPAC information is provided during the seminar. InsPAC charges $49.00 (subject to change) for the 7 CEUs. CADDCT trainers do not collect InsPAC fees. Please check with your instructor to confirm whether the course is approved by InsPAC in your state.
